Sogreah's level of orders remains healthy in 2009

Orders recorded by Sogreah during the 2009 financial year stayed at the same level as the previous year (above €110m). This means that the impacts of the crisis have been well contained. Following a peak in 2008, international orders returned to the levels of the previous years. Orders taken in France increased substantially again. Work in hand therefore remained steady on the whole, in spite of a few cancellations from Gulf countries. The workforce continued to grow.

Sogreah retains its 5th place in the top10 global port and maritime engineering consultants

Sogreah retains its 5th place in the "international maritime" activity category of the annual classification published by the American journal Engineering News Record (December 2009 edition). Although its ranking remains the same, Sogreah moved further up the classification and is now very close to the two international companies ranked immediately above it.

Sogreah and Coteba convene a meeting of their international subsidiary managers

The very first joint seminar of Coteba and Sogreah's international subsidiaries took place on 11 and 12 February 2010 in Rueil Malmaison, near Paris, bringing together nearly 100 participants.

The managers of the two groups' subsidiaries and branch offices represented no fewer than 30 countries, including many European countries, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Madagascar, Canada, Brazil, China, India and Vietnam.

The aim of the two days' meetings was to present the challenges of the Sogreah-Coteba merger, give the respective international networks an opportunity to meet, and gain a better understanding of the new group's range of activities.

At present the two groups together have more than 50 branch offices in nearly 40 countries.
