Artelia wins its first major contracts by promoting the complementary skills of Sogreah and Coteba

The Greater Paris region waste management authority (SYCTOM) has commissioned a consortium comprising Sogreah (leading partner), Coteba and Girus to provide assistance with the construction of an integrated municipal solid waste treatment plant at Romainville and a quay for disposing of the material collected via the inland waterway system. This plant is currently the largest household waste recycling centre in France, capable of handling a total of 450 000 t of waste per year.

At Lens (Pas de Calais), Artelia was chosen to supervise the urban development and landscaping works connected with construction of the new Louvre museum covering an area of 1000 ha, in association with landscape designer Michel Desvigne (leading partner) and architect and urban planning consultant Christian Portzamparc.
